Our in-home tutoring sessions and e-tutoring option provide the personalized attention students need, and the convenience students and parent's desire. As a Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business forward. You will leverage your sales expertise, educational background, and entrepreneurial mindset to expand our reach, grow our client base, and contribute to strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities



Business Development & Sales:

Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients, schools, and community partnerships.

Educational Expertise:

Provide insights into curriculum development, tutoring methodologies, and academic programs.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate on business planning, goal setting, and growth strategies.

Investment & Financial Planning:

Contribute financially to the business and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.

Partnership Development:

Build relationships with schools, educators, and community organizations.

Operational Support:

Assist in managing day-to-day operations, staff recruitment, and program development.

Other Responsibilities may also include but are not limited to



Generate leads for new business Participate in local family orientated events Conduct consultation with family & enroll new students Market & build brand awareness for Tutor Doctor

Required Skills and Experience



Ability to build rapport and trust with families of diverse backgrounds, including children Excellent communication skills, both written and oral: Ability to breakdown information and details in a clear and simplified way Sales Experience

:

Proven track record in sales (1-2 years), business development, or client acquisition. Educational Background: Retired teacher, principal, or educational administrator with a deep understanding of the education sector. Investment Capability: Willingness to invest capital into the business and share in its profits. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Visionary thinker with a drive to grow a business from the ground up. Relationship Builder: Strong network within the education community and ability to build lasting partnerships. Passionate & Committed: Aligned with our mission to provide quality education and support to students. Microsoft Office intermediate skills Work well alone, as-well-as in team environment Own transportation Willing to travel locally Willing to work some evenings and weekends

Must Have/Needed



Willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations (provide the most current background check) Have valid Drivers License Live within the Durham Region (Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, Courtice, Bowmanville, Newcastle)

Education



Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience



Retired teacher, principal, or educational administrator with a deep understanding of the education sector.
