OVERVIEW




Under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Administrative and Medical Directors, the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Strategic Growth and Expansion is responsible for the development, in collaboration with key stakeholders, and implementation of the Diagnostic Imaging Strategic Plan and execution of major capital project implementations (including new Interventional Radiology, CT, and MRI). The role will also lead frontline and administrative teams as required to execute strategic goals. While maintaining collaborative involvement in quality and patient experience, this position is focused on advancing departmental capabilities through technology optimization, procedural redesign, and future service expansion. This role will implement DI strategic plan, including CT, IR, MRI implementation, lead frontline teams as required and be a part of DI-on-call rotation


EDUCATION




Medical Radiation Technologist preferred or Registered Healthcare Professional background preferred Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in health administration, business, or related field strongly preferred Project management experience required Experience in Diagnostic Imaging department is an asset




QUALIFICATIONS




A minimum of 5 years clinical management or leadership experience within a hospital setting Demonstrated experience in incremental leadership responsibilities Demonstrated experience in project management Demonstrated leadership in planning and implementing change Demonstrated experience in using data to improve efficiencies and support patients, teams, and the care process Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Standards Demonstrated excellence in facilitation, communication , team building and problem solving skills Good work and attendance record required.
