As a Manager – Demand Generation, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the Joe Fresh business through cutting edge digital media campaigns that are powered by data, scaled efficiently through rigorous experimentation and are centered around the customer. You will leverage your effective storytelling skills to showcase the value of paid media in driving business results. Finally, you will flex your collaborative & strategic leadership style to ensure the flawless planning and execution of a highly matrixed media strategy & team, designed to fundamentally deliver omnichannel results for the Joe Fresh business.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the ideation, development and optimization of paid media strategies and initiatives that drive the business forward
  • Pitch media & experimentation strategies to business stakeholders to gain confidence and alignment
  • Collaborate with other Demand Gen colleagues to share knowledge & insights, ensure operational excellen & effectively scale our Demand Gen practice across the ecomm businesses
  • Collaborate with growth and business leadership to identify yearly and quarterly key communications objectives and business outcomes
  • Build data-driven and customer focused digital media plans across paid search, social, display and affiliate media to drive desired business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence to identify opportunities to leverage first party data for targeting and measurement
  • Define, measure and report on KPIs that hold media investments accountable to desired business outcomes, including the ROI on an incremental basis
  • Manage and mentor a team of paid search, social and programmatic specialists responsible for planning and executing exceptional digital media campaigns
  • Facilitate the development and execution of a clearly defined learning agenda aimed at understanding where paid media is most effective at driving incremental return for the Joe Fresh business and beyond
  • Report on the effectiveness of demand generation investment to senior stakeholders during business reviews
  • Manage and maximize value from platform and technology partner relationships including Google and Facebook
  • Participate and influence roadmap discussions for new capabilities with cross functional service teams (Marketing Intelligence, Digital Analytics, Data Science)
  • Partner with cross functional Marketing Intelligence and Digital Analytics teams to develop and integrate predictive forecasting and attribution models into media campaigns
  • Develop and streamline processes to maximize time spent on value added planning and optimization work
  • Identify processes and deliverables that can be automated and engage supporting partner teams to automate
  • Work with finance and contract partners for new vendor on-boarding, negotiations and resolution of billing accruals
  • Encourage collaboration among the Demand Generation team at all levels

Does this sound like you?

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field (Business, Marketing, Advertising)
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media planning and execution including 2-3 years of experience managing a team of digital media practitioners
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed KPIs
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of ad management & measurement tools like FB Ads Manager, DV 360, Google Ads, GA360, Adobe Analytics, etc.
  • Deep understanding of attribution and pixel tracking setup & implementation
  • A strong grasp of the agile methodology is an asset but not required
  • An analytical thinker with an ability to turn data into actionable insights and effective paid media strategies
  • A critical thinker with the ability to develop a POV and implications based on data, and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and positive attitude with passion for questioning assumptions and answering questions with data, in order to unlock value for the business & the enterprise.
  • Self-directed, proactive, able to define a vision and effectively lead the team through the execution of said vision.
  • Strong in Excel and reporting automation / experience using Business Intelligence tools (Looker, Google Data Studio or equivalent).
  • Excellent priority management skills demonstrated with both stakeholder partners & Demand Generation specialists
  • Possess a passion for the digital ecosystem, a curiosity to keep learning and a deep understanding of the value of our 1st party data and how it can be leveraged to understand and showcase the value of paid media.
