This location is high volume and the selected individual should possess a high degree of time-management, empathy, tact, decisiveness, and ability to navigate through change. The candidate must also be able to communicate expectations to ensure deliverables are met daily and adapt communication strategies to the team as needed to achieve the expected outcomes. The successful candidate must also be able to work a variety of shifts, which will include early mornings, overnights, weekends and statutory holidays. The role involves hands-on production work, stocking shelves, record keeping, compliance, program execution, staff training and administration, among other duties. The position is eligible for annual incentive, and hourly management wage incentive subject to certain terms and conditions.

This position is responsible for providing world class customer service by ensuring all customer requests are fulfilled. Maintain stock levels throughout the department and have product readily available for customers. Utilize department procedures to ensure quality and consistency of products.
Here's where you'll be focusing:

Responsible for Superior Service goals of the Department
Supervise department staff to include scheduling, training and assigning duties
Lead department as a positive role model
Implement all merchandising programs
Ensure standards of Department presentation and operations are met; including cleanliness and sanitation, inventory control, rotation, quality, ordering, variety standards, signing, seasonal schematic
Responsible for ordering and inventory control
Ensure the Department has the highest quality of product available for the customer
Monitor to ensure variety standards are followed, as well as 100% compliance on ad item display
Ensure paperwork, as set by the Division, is followed
Perform all other related duties as assigned by management
Responsible for the sales and profitability of the Department
Inspect displays for out of date items and remove, replenish, rotate and face all deli items
Unload stock and ensure all product is stored properly according to food safety regulations and organize and rotate according to First In First Out principles
