The Manager, Data Integration will be based out of Dieppe, New Brunswick (100 Midland Drive, E1A 7G9) and is responsible for managing the strategic focus and standardization and direction of our Quality and Process data systems. This is a permanent, full-time position. The primary language of work is English.

This role will be the key contact for all PARCView items and will work to standardize the enterprise adoption of PARCView by leveraging the visualization tools for reporting such as Power BI and O365. PARCView is integral as the foundational system for Process Centerlining, Quality Data and information and implementation of Statistics Process Control (SPC).

The ownership of these data systems will lead change for the standardization of reports for quality and process performance at each of the sites to drive variation reduction. This position will work closely with the operations and technical teams understanding of the needs and wants of the business. As the Subject Matter Expert for Quality Data, SPC and PARCView itself, this role will lead projects to have the backend data accessible to all ICP team members working with our Data Team.

Job Requirements

  • Education Required: Post-secondary education in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar degree
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years' experience:
  • Designing and implementing reporting solutions in various BI tools (Excel, ITOP, PARCView, etc.)
  • Querying SQL databases (SQL server)
  • Soliciting requirements from stakeholders
  • Teaching others how to effectively build reporting solutions
  • 3+ years' experience:
  • Communicating complex technical solutions to business stakeholders
  • Working as an influence and evangelist for system adoption
  • Perform stakeholder analysis
  • Developing system roadmaps and vision
  • Project management training preferred
  • Working knowledge of Capstone's PARCView
  • Strong understanding of time-series data and statistics process control (SPC)
The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

ICP Community Development:
  • Develop cross-functional community and centralized resource center (Microsoft Teams)
  • Develop tools, troubleshooting guides, and training resources for business systems
  • Develop internal user escalation and resolution process for system incidents
  • Develop processes and standards for user levels appropriate to the system use
  • Promote user adoption of new system and develop cross-functional support systems at each site
Vendor management:
  • Work with vendors to procure, prioritize, and manage support hours and initiatives.
  • Work with vendors to review and approve support hour invoices
  • Work with vendors for project requests and implementation
  • Work with vendors to ensure system implementation is following best practices and is current with latest system features, patches, and security updates.
  • Develop and manage internal and external support model
Project Management:
  • Development of enterprise systems adoption models, systems roadmap and vision for optimizing for statistical process control
  • Lead, prioritize, and execute on the development of displays, workflows, and functionality within each system
  • Collaborate with users and senior leadership to understand business requirements, propose solutions, and develop solutions for
  • Process and product data integration to include, but is not limited to: SPC alarm action plans, Customer COA tools, internal review tools
  • Provide internal support and expertise for active data-SPC driven projects
