The Opportunity
Reporting to the Controller and Director, Corporate Finance, this role offers the chance to lead, innovate, and make a meaningful impact in managing risk within the organization
.
As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for:
Leading Plannera's Risk Management Program, which includes an enterprise and operational risk management plans;
Leading Plannera's Business Continuity Risk Management Program;
Leading Plannera's insurance program;
Supporting the organization's procurement activities including management of corporate contracts; and
Supporting the organization's privacy risk management.
Ideal Candidate
You will be:
Collaborative and people-centered and able to build strong partnerships across the organization;
An approachable and effective communicator skilled at guiding senior leadership through risk management;
A leader who will influence, advise, and engage with all levels of the organization;
Solutions-oriented with the ability to balance risk identification with practical recommendations;
Analytical and a critical thinker who is able to interpret complex information and provide clear insights; and
A supervisor with the ability to mentor and oversee one direct report.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a combination of:
Risk Management designation or equivalent certification.
3-5 years experience in the field of risk management.
3-5 years experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
