About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Mental Health & Addictions, Eastern Zone, The Manager of Community Mental Health and Addictions (CMHA), (Child and Adolescent, and Adult Services) is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, supervising, and evaluating the Mental Health and Addictions Child and Adolescent and Adult clinical outpatient teams. The Manager oversees a team responsible for the clinical and administrative operations that support clients in our core services.
The position monitors clinical service delivery on a day-to-day basis to ensure service provision is in accordance with Nova Scotia Health\'s policies and procedures and is compliant with evidence-based practice, provincial standards, accreditation requirements and provincial service delivery model for adults and, CAPA for child & adolescents. Working closely with the Eastern Zone Director, Chief of Psychiatry, MHA Managers, and all other relevant staff, physician and academic leaders, the Manager provides strategic and operational leadership that supports excellence in service delivery, integration of mental health and addiction service provision, and collaboration with other program areas.
