The primary mandate of the Manager - Commercial Partners \xe2\x80\x93 Property, Claims is to build a network of efficient certified partners to support operations and ensure a customer experience that meets Desjardins\' ambitions.

Nationally, this involves implementing and enforcing agreements associated with common objectives, policies and quality standards for commercial partners by rigorously and proactively following management measures. The main role is to give our client peace of mind that the work or repairs are done by competent and trustworthy professionals within an acceptable time frame in all circumstances. The role of the team is also to ensure a good evolution of the commercial partners to be always competitive and to keep our competitive advantages.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities

  • Develop national strategies related to the performance management of Property partners and ensure their evolution through concrete actions to contribute to DGIG\'s objectives

  • Be the official representative of DGIG to our National Network: annual meeting, industry conferences, etc

  • Develop and maintain relationships based on trust with our various business partners

  • Engage in negotiations with our partners while being able to listen, adapt, and maintain a good control of the files

  • Support the employees of the team in the continuous development of their skills and encourage their participation in the identification and implementation of conditions for success and/or solutions to achieve the desired objectives and results

  • Monitor the market to adapt the management strategies of the partners and help the Network evolve

  • Contribute to the strategic orientations considering the important impact of the Network in the performance management of DGIG.


Priority Challenges and Issues

  • Maintain a privileged relationship with the main Operations departments to ensure optimal management of the Property partners and also to collaborate during problematic situations for our client and thus contribute to our objective of being a Canadian leader in customer experience

  • Ensure that our objectives of average cost management, efficiency and customer experience are met while maintaining a strong and committed partner network

  • Proactively establish a strategy for the efficient management of our partners during major events and adjust it quickly if necessary.

  • Workplace: Position located in Levis, Aurora, Mississauga or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is flexible hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field

  • A minimum of nine years of relevant experience

  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required


Specific knowledge

  • Mastery of the property and casualty insurance field, of the indemnification process and of several levels of expertise

  • Advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
