Job Summary



We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager, Cloud Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping principles and processes, with proficiency in cloud accounting software's and supporting applications. Strong strategic planning skills and leadership skills are required for this role.

Responsibilities



Manage a portfolio of clients and understanding their business, key risks and delivering added value. Creating comprehensive bookkeeping processes. Onboarding and training clients on cloud accounting software and applications. Research, design and deliver training of new cloud technologies to create efficiencies for our team and clients while maintaining quality control of engagements. Participate in new client pursuits and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals. Contribute to strategic and operational planning related to client and practice management, as well as develop new approaches to improve work processes. Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and completing performance reviews. Collaborate with various service line team members to develop and ensure consistency of standards and business processes across the service line for efficient workflow and quality review. Deliver expert industry and technical expertise in cloud bookkeeping through client interactions, reports, etc. Stay up-to-date on advances in the cloud accounting space and provide suggestions for implementation.

Skills



5+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience required. Proficiency with cloud-based software and applications is essential. Proven talent management, relationship-building and leadership skills Extensive understanding of full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping principles and processes. Strong interest in technology and innovation. Degree or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset Certificate in QBO and Xero is preferred.
