Manager - Clinical Services- Wellness Institute Job Details | Winnipeg Regional Health Authority

Position Overview



Reporting to the Director of the Wellness Institute, the Manager of Clinical Services - Wellness Institute manages and oversees the development and operations of all clinical services within the Wellness Institute. This includes both fee for service and funded programming in prevention and rehabilitation, chronic disease management and fitness programs. Is responsible for business development and marketing of these service areas, financial management and operational budgets of associated cost centers, recruitment, training and supervision of staff as well engagement in ongoing research programs.

Experience



5 years of progressive leadership, management and business development experience in a private and/or publicly funded organization including: 3 years of management and operations experience which includes operation of fee for service health care services, business development activities, quality assurance and key performance indicator measurement and staff performance. 3 years of experience building and leading a high performing inter-disciplinary health care team. 5 years of recent and relevant physiotherapy fee for service/private practice service provision required. 2 years of research or quality assurance evaluation experience.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)



Physiotherapy professional degree (BMR-PT or MPT). LEADS in a Caring Environment Certificate. Post-graduate training in health services management is considered an asset. Advanced clinical preparation such as FCAMPT certification is considered an asset.

Certification/Licensure/Registration



Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba. Membership in the Private Practice, Orthopedic/Pain/Leadership Divisions of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association required.

Qualifications and Skills



Demonstrated mid-to-senior leadership capabilities: The provincial health system has adopted the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework. Clinical practice management software skills and knowledge such as Practice Perfect.

Physical Requirements



Must be able to work safely in a computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10kg. Interruptions to respond to questions are common - must be able to schedule dedicated and focused time for planning and concentrating. Must have a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of personal motor vehicle for travel within the province.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
