Overview

Are you a professional in the field of insurance claims adjudication with management experience and a track record of service excellence? In this role as a Manager, Client Services you'll lead a team in Claims Intake and Adjudication Services responsible for making decisions on initial claims eligibility, wage-loss benefits, and health care benefits. Your work will assist your team to expedite the claims process to help injured workers receive the benefits they need, maintaining income continuity while they are off work, health care interventions and return to work support.

At this time, this is a hybrid position where you'll work primarily at home and occasionally work on-site at your assigned office.

What you'll do

As a Manager, Client Services you will:

  • Provide leadership and direction to staff that conduct investigation and initial adjudication for workers' compensation claims
  • Manage all aspects of claims and return to work to ensure the department meets or exceeds all targeted goals established by the division
  • Lead, motivate, and provide technical advice to a team of adjudicative staff
  • Identify opportunities to enhance adjudicative and service quality
  • Participate in hiring and orienting new employees, provide training for your team, and coach employees in their professional development
  • Perform claim reviews and audits to monitor quality of work and accurate application of law, policy, and practice

Your experience and educational background
  • A post-secondary degree in a related discipline such as business, health care, social sciences, disability management
  • A minimum of five years of related experience in a management role providing leadership in claims adjudication or administration
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
