Role Purpose





We're seeking an experienced

Manager, Client Accounting & Reporting

to lead our accounting team into a new era of performance and impact. This role is not about holding a title--it's about transforming practices, building leader?level professionals, and ensuring seamless operations for increasingly complex property portfolios.

Key Responsibilities




Lead, mentor, and develop the client accounting team to deliver accuracy, accountability, and excellence in financial reporting. Drive process improvements: optimize the use of Yardi, streamline close cycles, automate reporting, and standardize procedures Present clear and strategic financial insight in Board meetings and client discussions. Oversee preparation and review of financial statements across condominium, residential, and commercial properties Identify training needs and promote professional development: mentorship, cross-training, professional designations (CPA, CMA), and formal development plans Serve as a visible change leader--with operational collaboration across property and regional teams.



What We're Looking For




Required:




CPA, CMA, CA (or equivalent) in good standing. 5+ years in progressive leadership roles in property management accounting or commercial real estate finance Strong background with property accounting software (preferably Yardi) and cloud-based financial systems. Excellent communication and presentation abilities for both internal and external stakeholders. Proven track record of process improvement and coaching accounting professionals.

Preferred:




Experience handling complex portfolios (mixed-use, commercial, amenities-rich properties). Prior exposure to automation, centralized workflows, or scale-up environments.

Passion for developing others--with real success stories in mentoring or team building.
