S&P Global Market Intelligence The Role: Manager, Channels Solutions Engineer T he Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a team lead for our global Channels Solutions Engineer Team. This highly technical team partners with global Solutions Architect s, Product Development, Product Management and Sales Teams to explore product ideas and to provide quality technical assistance to our external Enterprise Data Delivery Solution customers. The role of the Solutions Engin e er is essential as it is the link between the end-user and our Enterprise Data Delivery Products/Solutions. Combining expertise in our product and content offerings with a deep understanding of our customer profiles and target markets, you and your team will act as consultant s providing the best and most efficient ways for our customers to use our tools to achieve quality results integrating our data into their internal mission-critical operational workflows and data environments. What\xe2\x80\x99s in it for y ou: Lea d and develop a team responsible for a global function Interact directly with clients and resolve challenging technical issues Partner with Product Management to investigate new technologies and help drive product decisions Learn the global financial markets and related content workflow needs Responsibilities: Lead, manage, define and drive direction of your team Be a technical product specialist for our enterprise Data Delivery solutions (both on-prem and Cloud-based) and provide in-depth technical assistance to clients during pre- and post-Sales phases Take initiative on learning a new or upcoming technology related to the business/product and become a subject matter expert Bring new ideas for innovation and automation excellence into the technical support process and build tools that will help replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve client issues Be the voice of the customers for product enhancements , getting involved in product strategy, roadmaps, and user-acceptance testing What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For: Core Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience 3+ Years of experience in t echnical product support or technical sales Experience with cloud environments (AWS, MS Azure and/or Google Cloud) Solid knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS/Aurora) environments Sizing, standing-up and deploying software and databases in AWS 2+ Years of experience leading a team Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) Must be confident and energized leading client-facing technical discussions Self-starter with ability to keep pace with rapid changes in evolving technologies Highly Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL , MySQL , &/or Snowflake database administration FTP Protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, etc.) & features/commands Proxies (HTTP/FTP) Network & Security Protocols Open source / evolving databases Data integration concepts & techniques Data modeling, big data & alternative/unstructured data This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States. Grade /Level 12 The Location: Toronto, New York, Centennial Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only) : S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 97,200 to $ 150,725 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
