We're seeking an experienced Developer with a passion for digital solutions, knowledge of DevOps and a strong understanding of application management to join our Digital Marketing team at RBC. As the Manager of Channel Integration, you will play a key role in managing and supporting applications that power our public website, acting as a bridge between technical teams, vendor partners, and business stakeholders. What will you do?
Handle digital marketing project requests through our Service Desk, including:
+ Application release management for development and production environments
+ System access provisioning
+ Source control management
+ Security scans and compliance checks
+ Providing technical support for ongoing applications Be the go-to technical contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring issues are quickly triaged and resolved.
Facilitate communication between teams to clarify technical requirements and project milestones.
Identify potential project risks, especially related to security, and work proactively to mitigate them.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to internal teams and external vendors.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure they have what they need to deliver on project goals.
Champion security best practices throughout project lifecycles and work with teams to resolve security concerns.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
2 to 5 years of experience in software development, technical liaison, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of web and mobile application architecture and development principles.
Hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as Java, .NET, C/C++, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, or Python.
Experience managing application releases, source control, and security scans.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with IT security best practices is a plus.
Prior experience working within a financial institution is an asset.
Nice to have:
Understanding of IT project management methodologies.
Knowledge of applications within a regulated environment like banking or finance.
