You will be an integral part of the Health Link 811 management team that supports clinical and non-clinical staff providing frontline patient care and services to Albertans.
Description:
The Central Access Manager, Health Link 811 reports directly to the Site Manager and is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, orientation, performance management, program planning, internal and external reporting of Central Access and Registration teams who provide direct service to Albertans. This position is responsible and accountable for making unit-level decisions, day-to-day operational management, planning and evaluation of services of a large and diverse registration team that books for over 20 different programs across the Edmonton Zone, routine childhood immunizations, and a variety of active living classes. This position plays a key role in communicating with appropriate internal and external contacts to develop and build programs that support Albertans and other AHS services. This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing expertise of the teams through direct staff development, ensuring that competencies and organizational standards/practices are achieved and maintained. This position has a key leadership role in identifying priorities and direction for the business units and maintaining a high level of service quality within Health Link.
