As a key member of the performance management team in Capital Markets Platform Finance, this role will manage compensation reporting and analysis for Capital Markets to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and establishing reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting, provide value-add analysis, develop analytical tools and insights at a Platform level, and prepare presentation materials for the CEO and CFO of RBC Capital Markets, Executive Committees in Human Resources and Capital Markets Finance Executives.
What you will do?
Manage compensation reporting analytics including developing presentations for senior management and preparing any ad hoc analysis as required
Routinely source and analyze Capital Markets data from HR to support compensation reporting activities as required
Develop and maintain various analytical models and drivers to track financial and non-financial data for compensation reporting purposes
Manage the Capital Markets platform management reporting mandate for quarterly reporting and analysis cycles for senior management utilization
Support ongoing and ad hoc deliverables to Head Office Performance Management, Investor Relations, and Financial & Regulatory Reporting
Work closely with Pension & Benefits, Human Resources and Capital Markets Advisory group
Lead improvements for existing processes to enhance controls and governance
Exercise diligence in safeguarding sensitive employee data
Support adhoc peer benchmarking activities as required
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA) or MBA
Experience in an accounting/finance and reporting environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced user proficiency with computer applications, such as Excel (VBA, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Strong investigative mindset and analytical skills
Ability to build strong relationships across various stakeholders
Nice to Have
Exposure to Capital Markets products and businesses
Knowledge and experience using analytical tools and managing large datasets
