With an annual budget of $10-12 million, we serve more than 16,000 individuals each year through programming focused on employment, entrepreneurship, climate resilience, leadership, and mental health. With over 42 years of operations, Skills for Change is a highly respected non-profit charity with a province wide reputation for pioneering programs that respond to shifting immigration and workplace trends and lead to employment. We offer a range of accelerated programs including mentoring, employment, settlement, language training together with specialized programs for skilled trades, women, and youth. We have 5 locations across the GTA and serve 16,000 clients annually. We believe we are in the best position to provide thought leadership through evidence-based programming, impact stories and proactive policy advocacy using knowledge mobilization products.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Campaigns & Donor Acquisition is a strategic and tactical role focused on driving individual giving revenue through multi-channel fundraising campaigns. Reporting to the Vice President of Fund Development, the Manager will lead donor acquisition and retention strategies, digital fundraising, and campaign execution to support SfC's growth from $10-12M to $15M+ annually. This is a high-impact opportunity for a results-oriented fundraiser with a passion for equity, innovation, and scalable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement donor acquisition and retention strategies across digital, direct mail, peer-to-peer, and events.
Manage and execute annual giving campaigns, including Giving Tuesday, year-end, and monthly giving.
Lead digital fundraising efforts including email marketing, social media campaigns, crowdfunding, and online giving platforms.
Develop campaign calendars, project plans, and content strategies in coordination with the marketing and communications team.
Oversee donor stewardship programs including thank-you processes, impact reporting, and engagement journeys.
Analyze donor and campaign data to assess performance and optimize strategies; produce regular campaign reports.
Support major gift prospect identification and early-stage cultivation through data mining and engagement tactics.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of donor database records and track KPIs across acquisition and retention.
Coordinate logistics for fundraising events tied to campaigns in partnership with the events team.
.QUALIFICATIONS:
5-7 years of progressive fundraising experience, with a focus on campaign management and individual giving.
Strong experience in digital fundraising and multi-channel campaign execution.
Proficiency with donor CRM systems such as Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or similar platforms.
Experience with email marketing platforms, social media fundraising tools, and analytics dashboards.
Strong analytical skills; ability to segment audiences, test approaches, and report on ROI.
Knowledge of Canadian charitable giving regulations and CRA tax receipting standards.
Bachelor's degree in fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience in immigrant services, social justice, or equity-focused nonprofits considered an asset.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset given our expanding national presence.

Analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Excel, etc.)
Social media platforms used for fundraising (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):
Annual individual donor revenue generated
New donor acquisition count and conversion rate
Monthly donor retention and upgrade rate
ROI per campaign and channel
Email open/click/conversion rates
Database accuracy and campaign segmentation effectiveness
COMPENSATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
This is a full-time position based in Toronto, with a hybrid work arrangement. The expected salary range is $75,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Some travel may be required within the GTA or Ontario for campaign-related events, donor meetings, and training (estimated <10%).
