We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management, with a proven ability to lead teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, staff training, and inventory control while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage staff schedules, conduct interviews, and oversee the training and development of team members.
Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation in accordance with food safety regulations.
Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure efficient food production and quality control.
Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining profitability.
Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication skills.
Oversee shift management to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and maintain consistent service levels.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Experience with inventory control and budgeting in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Proficiency in POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is preferred.
Background in fine dining or casual dining establishments is advantageous.
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
