As the Manager, Business Transformation and Product Owners for Insurance, you\xe2\x80\x99ll lead the identification of areas of opportunity and implement fundamental change to business processes that align the vision and strategic direction as it relates to people, processes and systems.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO
  • Report to the Director, Operational Transformation
  • Oversee the performance and mentorship of the Insurance Product Owners
  • Collaborate with business areas to assist in defining their roles in contributing to the overall success of the Omni Wheel Strategy
  • Work closely with all insurance, lead the development of member journey mapping exercises, and gather member insights to create a more member centric approach to serving members
  • Work closely with the Association Transformation teams to share best practices
  • Lead the implementation of process changes resulting from journey mapping and lean initiatives
  • Communicate regularly with various teams to strengthen relationships, identify areas of concern and discuss opportunities to deliver better member experience and improve operational efficiency
  • Assist in developing solutions focused on improving service delivery
  • Champion the implementation and growth of strategic initiatives
  • Identify new opportunities and then lead the implementation of the programs
  • Research and implement value added business development opportunities that will help contribute revenue into the Association
  • Work with the insurance operations teams to identify any trends or opportunities and then develop process changes to address the issues
  • Work with Analytics to develop reporting to create processes and recommendations to address any member service issues
  • Work closely with finance and audit to ensure compliance with the Association guidelines and provide recommendations
  • Review performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal achievement and overall effectiveness
  • Be willing to travel within Alberta.
WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99VE DONE
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ve got a post-secondary education in business administration or related discipline, and/or equivalent industry experience
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in leading teams
  • You have demonstrated experience contributing to business tactics and strategies with a thorough knowledge and understanding of diverse operational needs
  • Your analytical skills balanced with your organizational leadership ability make you a perfect candidate for this role
  • You have experience in operations, analysis, planning and process improvement and you enjoy managing multiple portfolios with their own specific priorities
  • You have lots of experience with performance management (goal setting, measuring, monitoring and execution skills)
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ve proven that you know how to get high quality results and foster positive relationships with various stakeholders
