Reporting to the Director, Strategic Initiatives & Project Implementation, the ideal candidate will be a client focused, highly professional self-starter with demonstrated experience in a similar function. They will also have a positive attitude with a high level of quality workmanship and attention to detail. The incumbent will have overall responsibility for the strategy, design and delivery of information required to make key business decisions, monitor and measure performance, and to fulfill client reporting and analysis needs. Manager, Business Intelligence Reporting, consults on analytical solutions to analyze, understand, and synthesize requirements and objectives relative to the data needs of our business. They will provide advice, configuration and functionality to enable high-quality, fact-based business decisions using data analytics, data modeling, reporting and business intelligence tools.

Duties and Responsibilities



Leads the design, development and implementation of reporting and data analytics solutions Recommend and establish business intelligence tools/systems, methodology and processes to support overall business reporting and analytics strategy Build reports and visualizations to effectively communicate data driven insights to users for a variety of audiences Develop scalable business intelligence processes for delivery of reports Investigate and resolve data and reporting issues Design, develop, and implement innovative analytical solutions for regular and ad-hoc reporting Gain a detailed understanding of information and intelligence requirements of various stakeholders Build an intake, prioritization and management process for enterprise reporting department Execute reporting and analytics requests: Gathering and documenting requirements to understand business needs from stakeholders Collaborating and coordinating with IT Application Development to fulfill requests Delivery of business needs to be specific and within committed timelines Establish standards for reporting criteria to ensure consistency, accuracy and alignment across all reports Review quality and accuracy, and implement controls to ensure deliverables meet high quality standards Develop operational process to add, remove, and update metrics, reports, and scorecards Establish internal service level agreement for the delivery of reports and analysis Handle requests for routine reports to internal and external clients - ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency Respond to ad-hoc requirements for analysis and information Responsible for data model development, testing and data management of complex reporting involving multiple sources and channels Proactively analyze information and highlight key points, trends and issues Work directly with business partners and other data professionals to create reporting using reporting tools Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business reporting objectives Lead a BI/Reporting team, including onboarding new members, coaching, mentoring, and performance management Accountable for resource planning, prioritization, and workload distribution Ensure alignment of BI strategy with business objectives Responsible for communicating BI insights to senior leadership and influencing decision-making

Qualifications



Completion of a university degree in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or a related discipline preferred 5 years in a role with similar responsibilities in Analytics and Business Intelligence reporting Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects and Microsoft BI Suite of tools. Previous experience developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI Ability to proactively solve & manage complex data, programming and reporting problems delivering business intelligence and data analytics Highly professional self-starter that can work independently Strong analytical skills and technical acumen In-depth verbal & written communication skills Expert knowledge with SQL, Python, Power BI and other relevant tools. Experience in data gathering and analytics Attention to detail and high level of quality Knowledge of mortgage and title insurance industry would be a definite asset
