Here\'s the impact you\'ll make and what we\'ll accomplish together

As a member of the TELUS Health Chief Security Office team, you will ensure the overall success of the Cybersecurity program and implementation of new practices or solutions. You\'ll act as a trusted partner to TELUS Health business units globally and drive a modern, effective cyber security culture, awareness and business engagement model. TELUS Health is a global company and this role will cover engagement with business partners across 160 countries.

What you will do

  • Collaborate and partner with business/technical/clinical team members across TELUS Health on all strategic and operational guidelines related to Cybersecurity
  • Lead and motivate your team of business consultants and communication specialists to support the delivery of priority initiatives
  • Drive a global approach to cyber security awareness, aligned to regional cultures, which supports both our business and customers
  • Be a trusted advisor leading strategy and execution of Cybersecurity transformation initiatives for TELUS Health CSO
  • Facilitate stakeholder needs assessments, solution exploration, and presenting recommendations to all business client groups
  • Influence best practices and processes while adding value to internal operations
  • Build relationships with internal client groups to remove any constraints and accelerate adoption of new cybersecurity practices in daily operations
  • Listen and provide guidance and support to business and operational team members on cybersecurity risks, issues, and decisions
  • Innovate to keep cyber engagement relevant and desirable for our business and community partners
  • Innovate to develop cutting edge engagement models for our customers, working closely with our partners in corporate TELUS.
  • Develop, establish, and deliver educational programs and content to meet program and business objectives
What you bring
  • 5 years or more experience in a business consulting, technology advisory, change management, or program development role
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field or the equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities
  • A positive and dynamic personality, able to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven experience as a people leader, and the ability to transform vision into action
  • People-first approach, active listener, and effective at building rapport and establishing trust with all various levels of leadership and team members
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to influence and achieve results without direct authority
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical ideas into simple solutions that are easy to understand
