What You\'ll Do
The Manager, Brand Development and Business Integration, Triangle Retail Media (TRM), will be responsible for managing the strategic partnership and business integration of TRM with Canadian Tire Corporation\xe2\x80\x99s (CTC) business units (retail banners) and strategic marketing teams. TRM is CTC\xe2\x80\x99s rapidly scaling Retail Media Network Business across banners. Investing behind this business and scaling it over the next five years is a top strategic priority for CTC. As a member of the TRM team, you will work alongside groups of industry experts in a highly agile, entrepreneurial, and exciting environment.
Leading the integration of TRM within CTC businesses, ensuring strategic alignment between all business entities as well as maintaining and optimizing the processes required for all stakeholders to work seamlessly together, toward our shared goals
Developing compelling advertising product narratives that are grounded in data and storytelling to persuade marketers, ad agencies, and internal stakeholders to adopt TRM advertising products
Championing the business units\xe2\x80\x99 objectives within the TRM organization to ensure business strategies and tactics are in place to meet and exceed goals
Contributing to TRM\xe2\x80\x99s product roadmap by identifying and developing new product offerings that align with both TRM\xe2\x80\x99s and the business units\xe2\x80\x99 overarching strategy and objectives
Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to review performance of current quarterly activations and evolve our product offering as needed
Orchestrating the development of quarterly product offerings while ensuring the media strategy, creative direction, and overall approach align with TRM\xe2\x80\x99s financial targets, TRM\xe2\x80\x99s strategy, the banner\xe2\x80\x99s strategy, client considerations, market trends, etc.
Developing a disciplined approach for internal communication between TRM and the business Units to drive internal collaboration and partnership
Leveraging knowledge of ad technology, ad media ecosystem, ad buyer\'s perspective, business unit objectives, and consumer decision making to drive strategy, blueprint, and product development through brand partnership opportunities and onsite, offsite ad solutions
Partnering with Ad Operations and Platform team to develop new advertising product offerings and capabilities for the business units, and ensuring alignment and integration with existing processes and best practices
Defining and measuring KPIs for the Brand Development and Business integration team; Building feedback mechanism and iterating
What You Bring
Post secondary education in marketing, business, economics, operations, or a related discipline
6+ years of experience in a strategy/ brand development role in media / advertising at agency/ client side
A working knowledge of media buying/ ad serving with an excitement to learn how to produce meaningful insights, counsel, and plan for our partners\xe2\x80\x99 business objectives
Critical thinking skills with an ability to tackle unique projects with a positive and problem-solving mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation and influencing at executive leadership levels through building relationships
Demonstrated strategic and analytical approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with agile practices, attention to detail, and an ability to quickly jump between workstreams and self prioritize tasks
Resourcefulness in maneuvering through a large company while working in a nimble and fast paced environment \xe2\x80\x93 ability to adapt and thrive in any business situation
