Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage assurance engagements from planning through completion.
Supervise, coach, and mentor junior team members.
Review financial statements and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with high levels of responsiveness.
Collaborate with partners and managers to deliver high-quality results.
Ensure compliance with firm policies and professional standards.
Provide insights and recommendations to add value for clients.
Qualifications
Canadian CPA designation
(mandatory).
5+ years of progressive assurance/audit experience in a CPA firm.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple engagements and teams.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and assurance practices.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Background
Experience with both public and private company assurance engagements.
Background with
national, mid-sized, or Big 4 CPA firms
