Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program with preference towards bachelor\'s degree in nursing. At least 3-5 years in a healthcare provider role and a minimum of one year working in a leadership capacity. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)

Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, and client/resident focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision making skills. Demonstrated ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage short term and long term plans and projects and deliver customer focused results. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners.
