What You\'ll Do

The Manager, Advanced Measurement & Analytics, Triangle Retail Media (TRM), will be responsible for leading standard / recurring reporting, measurement, and insights on TRM performance, post-campaign performance and in-flight reports. TRM is Canadian Tire Corporation\xe2\x80\x99s (CTC) rapidly scaling Retail Media Network Business across banners. Investing behind this business and scaling it over the next five years is a top strategic priority for CTC. As a member of the TRM team, you will work alongside groups of industry experts in a highly agile, entrepreneurial, and exciting environment. You will make an impact by:
Setting strategy and vision for what TRM reporting and measurement will look like
Leading the development of measurement and reporting tools which enable clients with a thorough understanding of the value generated through media network advertising
Developing measurement solutions for business and marketing challenges, while uncovering opportunities in sales attribution and campaign effectiveness by isolating for external variables like seasonality, macro-economic conditions, etc.
Coaching a team of measurement analysts / data scientists on determining best approaches for establishing baseline, calculating incrementality, adjusting for seasonality and conducting causal inference and difference-in-difference analysis for TRM campaigns
Building measurement plans, tracking requirements, reporting, metrics, and benchmarks for campaigns to understand the incremental impact of our clients\xe2\x80\x99 marketing dollars (e.g., conversion lift tests, matched market analyses, and brand lift studies)
Leveraging expertise in analytical tools and statistical models to create a system for data science translation into business terms, and deriving a story and strategy from data as needed
Developing a reporting structure which harnesses data, insights, and measurement providing near real-time result to clients and partners
Establishing process to significantly reduce reporting SLAs and improve quality of reporting
Collaborating with relevant cross-functional teams inside TRM (e.g., Sales & Account Management) and outside TRM (e.g., FP&A, BI architects) to ensure an aligned vision and an integrated strategy
Building a knowledgeable and engaged measurement function by fostering the development of talent and establishing systems to ensure career progress of analytics talent within your team
Adapting to ongoing product and technology developments and identifying opportunities for growth and development, as it relates to the needs of the retail media network industry
What you bring
Post secondary education in statistics/ math/ analytics or a related quantitative discipline
5-7 years of experience in a measurement / financial reporting/ forecasting and modelling role, preferably at a media company, publisher, ad network, or retail media network
Strong quantitative and statistical skills (regression, ML/DL techniques, statistical learning, model inference, model validation)
Solid understanding and demonstrated experience in advanced measurement concepts like true attribution, incrementality, seasonality and causal inference
3+ years hands-on experience with analytical tools and languages, including SAS, R, Python or MATLAB, with a working knowledge of designing and driving cross functional analyses
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and experience working with tech and data enablement teams/ tech solution architects to navigate technical requirements to enable data pipelines for ML/DL models
Sound knowledge of db technologies, with the ability to communicate with technical staff to challenge processes and solution complex problems
Demonstrated strategic and analytical reporting approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation and influencing at executive leadership levels
Proven leadership skills with a reputation for building and developing teams that effectively anticipate and respond to disruption, while consistently delivering strong performance
