Reporting to the Director, School of Public Policy, the Manager, Academic & Administrative Services manages the annual operating budget for the School of Public Policy Program; provides support in the administration of operating, research, and specific purpose budgets; and assists in the development, planning, and execution of instructional and conference budgets. The incumbent provides academic advice and administrative support to prospective and registered graduate students. The Manager provides support to the graduate curriculum committee and participates in long-range course planning for the Program. The incumbent monitors the graduate registration activity each semester and provides a range of general operational and administrative support for the program. The Manager, Academic & Administrative Services hires and supervises temporary support staff as required.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree and three years of related experience, including experience in financial administration and post-secondary curriculum advising, planning, and coordination OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
