Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Managed Services Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of various equipment and systems including network cabling, satellite, internet, phone and television systems and will be able to climb heights. This candidate will also be part of our 24/7 help desk team, assisting clients remotely. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Service Technician will ensure that all services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components in a timely manner. Install new equipment and systems according to specifications. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service details, recommendations, and follow-up actions. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. Work rotating weekend on call shifts with on call premium and applicable overtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred. 5+ years proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar technical role. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction. Valid driver's license Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices is a plus. First Aid a plus Fall Protection a plus
Preference will be given to candidates with previous installation experience.
