***The primary function of a Mall Security Officer is to provide the highest level of security and customer service possible. Their most important goal is to keep the property, its tenants, visitors, and employees safe and free from harm.**
Requirement: Applicant must currently live in Vancouver Island.
Shifts are: Monday to Saturday (0700-1500 and 1500-2300) 8 Hour Shifts Sunday (0700-1900) 12 Hour Shift
The successful candidate will be: physically fit, a good report writer, great communication / customer service skills, constant patroller of site for presence and able to work around the homeless population.
Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A valid BC Security Worker?s Licence is required;
  
• Must Have valid OFA certification or willing to obtain
  
• Previous Retail Security is preferred;
• Able to observe and report security issues while on shift by completing high quality reports;
• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
• A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills;
• Must be physically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc
• Top-notch customer service, with previous experience a strong asset;
• Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner;
• Comfortable working alone;
  
• Must be able to follow procedure and set routines effectively;
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Flexible availability Morning ,afternoon and evenings Must be available weekend
