Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to client with Parkinson's disease. including assisted living facilities, private homes. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and possess experience in patient care, senior care, and working with individuals with disabilities. This role involves delivering personalized care to improve the quality of life for those in need, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times. Candidates should be prepared to perform a variety of duties including light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication administration, and assisting with daily activities. Prior experience with Parkinson's disease , dementia care, or home care is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient and senior care tailored to individual needs with Parkinson's disease. Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary Support clients with mobility challenges through heavy lifting or transfer assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks Monitor health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members and family members

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred Knowledge of Parkinson's disease. dementia care, or working with people with disabilities is a plus ? Experience with caregiving tasks such as medication administration and meal preparation is desirable Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting safely Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with seniors and individuals with special needs Certification or training in caregiving, nursing assistance, or related fields is advantageous but not required Open to work weekends

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
