Math and supporting students with diagnosed learning disabilities and neurodivergent profiles
. We are especially seeking someone with experience teaching students who learn differently - whether through neurodivergence, formal LD diagnoses, or non-traditional educational backgrounds.

Position Details:
Role: Full-Time Educator (with a focus on Math and LD support)
Start Date: August 26th 2025
Hours: 40 hours per week (30 teaching hours plus 10 hours prep and collaboration time)
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging, one-on-one math instruction (Grades 6-12)
Support students with diagnosed learning disabilities and other learning differences
Tailor lessons to diverse learning styles and individual needs
Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
Collaborate with a team of innovative, compassionate educators
Document, reflect on and refine your teaching practices regularly
What We're Looking For:
Subject Expertise:
Strong foundation in Math (Grades 6-12)
Ability to support additional subjects (in Science or Humanities) is a bonus
Teaching and Learning Support Experience:
Experience teaching/mentoring young people (Grades 6-12)
Experience supporting students with diagnosed learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia)
Familiarity with neurodivergent learning profiles, including ADHD and autism, and strategies to support those learners
Teaching Style & Approach:
Creative, flexible, student-centred
Skilled in designing and delivering one-on-one instruction
Committed to relational, inclusive, and strength-based teaching
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Demonstrated understanding of learning disabilities and instructional adaptations
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working in a dynamic, non-traditional educational setting
