COMPENSATION
$18 to $20/hr - Staff housing if available, extended medical & dental benefits after 6 months, paid breaks, daily buffet breakfast, access to all hotel facilities including gym and pools, flexible schedule, great training, worldwide discounts with Wyndham and more.
HOURS OF WORK
Breakfast Attendants work 6 to 8 hours a day, and typically start early mornings. Our hotel is 24 hour 7 days a week operation with distinct high and low business seasons. High business levels during the summer and winter summer & low season business levels during the spring and fall. We endeavour to accommodate all staff members' work-life balance. We ask that you be available for full-time work during our high season and part-time time during our low season. You can take vacation and travel opportunities during a reduced work schedule during our low season. Consistent & predictable work schedules are our goal.
BREAKFAST ATTENDANT
As the morning host of the hotel, you the start of the guest's day. You are in this role because you are a natural warm and welcoming host. You are excellent at promoting our community. We know you are someone who can make anyone feel at home.

You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds (with assistance) required.
BREAKFAST ATTENDANT DUTIES
o Greet all guests
o Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills to ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest
o Ensuring guest satisfaction with prompt and friendly service
o Cook and prepare food & beverages
o Set up & maintain the breakfast buffet
o Maintenance and cleanliness of service areas and dining areas
o Keep the buffet stocked and sanitized
o Label, date, and rotate food stock
o Knowledge of food ingredients and common allergens
o Ensure ordering procedures are followed and inventory is kept at required business levels
o Keep a clean and safe environment
o Clean and sanitize common areas, including bathrooms, main floor halls, and lobby
o Assist with housekeeping duties
o Assist with laundry
o Assist with guest Services
o Other duties as required
COHORT & HOTEL DUTIES
Participate in the Revelstoke Ambassador program
Ensure the security and safety of guests and initiate the emergency procedures of the hotel
Have fun at work and help your cohort to be their best selves
Conduct daily shift hand-off briefings
Uphold brand standards
Share your knowledge and support your team members
Seek out learning opportunities and professional development
Represent the workplace with positivity while interacting with our community and on social media
ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in English (both oral and written).
Strong communication and people skills.
Ability to use a variety of office software and computer systems
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
Be physically fit and have the ability to lift up to 30lbs alone
Standard first aid certificate (can be obtained after onboarding)
Food Safe (can be obtained after onboarding)
Physical ability to stand, bend, crouch, reach, speak or walk for long periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-facing environment
