Le role de Nettoyeur/Associe(e) a l'entretien consiste a maintenir la proprete et l'ordre de l'immeuble en effectuant les taches prevues a l'horaire de nettoyage, lequel depend de la structure de l'equipe de l'immeuble. La personne titulaire du poste est egalement responsable de l'entretien general, preventif et reparateur d'un immeuble unique ou d'un portefeuille d'immeubles, ainsi que des logements et des terrains.
Responsabilites principales:
Veiller a offrir un niveau superieur de cooperation, de service et de soutien aux residents
S'assurer que les normes de proprete de l'immeuble sont maintenues au plus haut niveau
Repondre rapidement aux problemes et aux demandes de service des residents
Effectuer les taches prevues a l'horaire de nettoyage ou celles assignees par le ou la gestionnaire d'immeuble / gestionnaire regional(e)
Inspecter les terrains, les installations et l'equipement afin de determiner si des reparations ou de l'entretien preventif sont necessaires
Respecter les politiques et procedures de securite (ex.: utilisation de produits de nettoyage, utilisation de la machinerie, declaration d'incidents, etc.)
Faire preuve de flexibilite, puisque les taches peuvent changer selon les besoins de l'immeuble
Respecter les procedures de sante et securite en utilisant l'equipement requis, en identifiant les pratiques et conditions dangereuses et en maintenant un environnement de travail propre et securitaire
Effectuer de l'entretien general et specialise ainsi que des reparations sur les proprietes du site et les proprietes avoisinantes sous la direction du gestionnaire regional ou du gestionnaire d'immeuble
Tenir a jour et a temps la documentation relative aux activites d'entretien
Exigences du poste
Formation & Experience:
Diplome d'etudes secondaires (DES) ou diplome d'equivalence (GED), un atout
1+ annee d'experience en entretien menager et maintenance, un atout
Une experience dans l'industrie multiresidentielle ou un secteur connexe est consideree comme un atout
Experience en entretien d'immeuble/propriete
Maitrise de l'utilisation d'outils manuels de base et d'outils electriques
Connaissances en plomberie, electricite, cloison seche, menuiserie, peinture, etc.

Attitude professionnelle et excellentes competences en communication
Capacite d'ecouter, comprendre et repondre adequatement aux situations
Capacite de travailler et d'agir de maniere autonome en faisant preuve de jugement face a des situations difficiles
Personne autonome avec une attitude positive du type je peux le faire et aucune tache n'est trop grande ou trop petite
Excellentes competences organisationnelles et de gestion du temps, avec capacite a gerer plusieurs taches, prioriser et respecter des delais serres
Flexibilite pour travailler sur appel selon un horaire rotatif (soir et fin de semaine)

About the Position:
The Cleaner/Maintenance role maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the building by performing duties as outlined in a cleaning schedule which is dependent on the buildings team structure. The incumbent is also responsible for general, preventative and repair maintenance of a single complex or portfolio of buildings as well as apartment units and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to Residents
Ensure building cleaning standards are maintained to the highest level
Promptly respond to resident issues and service requests
Perform the routine on the cleaning schedule or carry out tasks assigned by the Building Manager/Area Manager
Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine if repairs or preventative maintenance is required
Comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required (i.e. when using cleaning chemicals, operating machinery, reporting incidents, etc.)
Demonstrate flexibility, as tasks may change based on building requirements
Comply with health & safety procedures ensuring the use of required safety equipment and identifying unsafe practices and conditions while maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Perform general and specialized maintenance and repairs to site properties and surrounding properties under the direction of the Regional Manager or Building Manager
Maintain regular and timely documentation of maintenance activities
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Completion of High School or general education degree (GED) an asset
1+ years of cleaning and maintenance experience an asset
Exposure to the multi-residential or other related industry asset class would be considered an asset
Building/Property Maintenance experience
Proficient with use of basic handheld and electrical tools
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.

Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations

Flexibility to work on-call on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends)
