Position Details

CAPE Manufacturing is looking for a self-motivated

Maintenance/Yard Person

to join our team in a rural community.

Reporting to the

Facility Manager

, the successful candidate duties include but are not limited to:

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components as needed. Fabricate parts as required Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities. Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting issues effectively. Assist staff during projects or repairs when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards. Operate trucks and equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Welding skills with the ability to fabricate components as needed. Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is an asset. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Time management skills with experience supervising others is an asset. Valid Drivers License

Work Schedule:

Full-time Permanent Monday to Friday Overtime as required Optional Overtime and Night Shifts as required with pay premium
