Maintenance Worker
Job Description
We are looking for a person that has some experience in the following areas but we are also willing to train the right person.
You would be working and sharing duties with our current maintenance person with duties like but not limited to;
• Painting apartments and touch ups in the building
• Minor repairs in apartments and around the building - like; cupboards, hinges, plumbing and electrical.
• Other general day to day upkeep maintenance like locks, keys, heaters, a/c's, changing light bulbs, batteries in smoke detectors.
• Keeping the grounds clean and tidy
• You would share the after hour call-outs with current maintenance person
• Cover for holidays / sickness
You will also need a vehicle and valid drivers license and hopefully a little knowledge on a cell phone as we use an app for maintenance records.
• High school or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication
• Great personality and able to work as a team and alone
• Like seniors
• Criminal record check
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
