Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and systems, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance tasks which focuses on preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure optimal functioning.
• Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and repairs of automated systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
• Provide leadership in safety practices and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
• Deliver exceptional service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Must possess a Skilled Trade Certification.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when necessary.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks performed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
