We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance, with experience in supervising teams and managing various maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting and repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Apply electrical knowledge to diagnose and resolve electrical issues within the facility. Interpret schematics to understand equipment layouts and systems. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Experience

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required. Supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Proficient in welding techniques and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
