Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to read schematics and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). A commitment to customer service and leadership qualities will enhance the effectiveness of this position.

Duties

Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing knowledge of logic controllers and schematics. Execute repairs on various systems, including welding and fabrication tasks as necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and effectively. Supervise maintenance staff when required, fostering a collaborative work environment. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the facility. Stay updated on industry best practices and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong background in mechanical knowledge and electrical systems. Familiarity with schematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings is essential. Experience with CMMS is preferred for efficient record-keeping and task management. Strong customer service skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Leadership experience in supervising or mentoring staff is a plus, contributing to team development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.77-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
