Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team at Riverside Entertainment Center in Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our restaurant, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for both guests and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive cleaning of all restaurant areas, including restrooms, dining areas, kitchen, and common spaces. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and a presentable appearance. Clean and maintain sewer lines to ensure proper drainage. Regularly clean grease traps in the kitchen and basement to prevent buildup. Use a plumbing snake to clear blockages in sewer pipes and toilets. Remove snow and ice from entrances, parking lots, and storage access areas. Empty garbage bins, recycling containers, and cigarette disposal units. Perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs as needed. Set up and prepare the bingo room for scheduled events. Monitor and uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with restaurant staff to address cleaning priorities and maintain a hygienic environment. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials. Adhere to all relevant health and safety program regulations.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety protocols. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed. Active listening and effective communication skills.
