Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. This role involves ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and a focus on safety and efficiency. Leadership qualities and supervisory experience are a plus, as this position may involve overseeing maintenance activities and guiding junior staff.

Duties

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and technical manuals Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history Conduct welding repairs and fabrication as needed to maintain equipment integrity Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards Lead or supervise maintenance tasks, providing guidance to team members when necessary Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency Ensure the facility adheres to safety protocols and environmental regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical systems and components Skilled in welding techniques for repair and fabrication tasks Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems Experience using CMMS software for maintenance management Supervisory or leadership experience preferred, with the ability to oversee maintenance projects and teams Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards Strong communication skills in English for effective documentation and teamwork Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
