Primaris REIT is currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Maintenance Worker to join our team at our Peter Pond Mall in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Maintenance Worker, your primary responsibility is to perform day to day maintenance and customer service duties required to keep the property safe and presentable for customers, staff and tenants by;

Performing daily property inspections and promptly reporting repair needs

Conducting minor property repairs and maintenance tasks including but not limited to dry walling, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing & electrical

Ensuring property safety and respond to tenant concerns

Maintaining property cleanliness and curb appeal

Collaborating with contractors, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in coordinating work with stakeholders

Requirements:

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who are customer service focused and have a can do attitude. If this opportunity sounds interesting to you, you likely have the following attributes:

Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required, college diploma an asset

1 year experience in a similar field

Knowledge of a trade or HVAC, etc. an asset

Ability to operate power tools & equipment

Valid Driver's License

Basic PC skills

CPR and First Aid certification an asset
