Education
Completion of high school and/or trade school in related field
Experience & Skills
Minimum three years in property maintenance or equivalent experience. Hands on experience in electrical/mechanical/plumbing/refrigeration/painting an asset. Possess good interpersonal skills and enjoys working with the public Good oral and written communication skills Ability to multi-task small/large projects, independently, as well as on a team Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Other Requirements
Nine years valid Canadian driving license with good driving abstract
WHIMIS Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Knowledge of Electrical code, occupational Health and Safety Standard, Local and Provincial LawsSummary of Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for day to day maintenance activities Executing equipment repair and preventative maintenance Property maintenance including lawn mowing, whipper snipping and snow shoveling Supporting continuous improvement activities Perform heavy physical work Transporting guests in the courtesy van, to and from the airport as required Assisting with the setup of meeting rooms
Must have own transportation as public transportation is not available.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
