Langier Real Estate Developments Ltd. is an integrated real estate firm in Edmonton Alberta that is actively engaged in real estate construction, property management, acquisition, leasing and development in the Edmonton region with over $425 Million dollars worth of development and transaction experience.

Langier Real Estate Developments currently oversees a diverse portfolio of retail, multifamily, townhouse and single-family projects.

We are looking for a

Maintenance Worker or Handyman

for various Properties in and around Edmonton. Properties include renovations, new construction, high end newly built facilities and matured residential buildings. The right candidate will have the potential to work full time or part time if desired and will contribute to Langier Real Estate's goals by positively representing our Properties, residents and assisting in other Real Estate and Development objectives.

Job Responsibilities

General carpentry duties, framing, drywall etc. Minor Plumbing and Electrical work Cabinet install Painting Minor HVAC repairs General handyman duties and repairs as required in apartments and at construction sites Treat residents with courtesy and respect, communicate any problems or concerns to lead Property Manager; Maintain a log book of daily activities; Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Assist Langier Developments in other related Real Estate business activities in regards to renovations, new construction and commercial real estate.

Job Requirements

Must have good understanding of the English language. This includes both written and verbal communication skills; Highly organized with excellent problem solving and customer service skills; Ability to maintain a professional appearance Ability to work independently and in a team environment where mutual support is essential; Be physically able to carry out all necessary duties. All candidates must be physically able, at minimum, to paint and clean, including bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50lbs; Must be a Resident of Canada or possess the appropriate documentation to legally work in Canada. All documentation must be current.
This position may require travel between sites; a valid class 5 driver's license and satisfactory driving record and access to transportation will be required.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
