Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This is a seasonal position. This role is vital to ensuring our facilities are well maintained, safe, and fully operational. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, as the role involves occasional guest interaction.

Duties

General building repairs and maintenance. Painting and touch-ups. Performing general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs. Maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Daily maintenance and monitoring of hot tubs. Firewood processing and distribution as needed. Fish filleting when required. Yard and grounds maintenance. Providing basic customer service when required.

Experience

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade. Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilties across various systems. Familiarity with electrical systems and basic wiring practices. Strong oranizational skills and attention to detail. Painting experience is an asset. Ability to fillet various types fish is required. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
