Responsibilities

Prepare work by reading and interpreting blueprint drawings accurately. Select and transport materials to the work area, manually or using overhead cranes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. Lay out, prepare, and assemble structural steel components for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to weld aluminum and steel using TIG, MIG, MCAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes. Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy; maintain and adjust fixtures as needed. Follow all safe work procedures and company safety policies.

Skills & Experience

Certified Journeyman Welder, or Registered Apprentice Valid CWB, FCAW/MCAW ticket is considered an asset Previous experience working in a structural steel shop Proven dedicated team player--with a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
