We are seeking a Manufacturing Technical Operator to join our food production team. In
this role, you will operate, maintain and troubleshooting production machinery and
equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will
be responsible for ensuring product quality, minimizing downtime, and performing basic
maintenance while minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement on the
production line.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor automated or semi-automated production machinery
according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform equipment set-up, calibration and changeovers
Perform in-process quality checks to ensure product meets specifications.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and make minor mechanical adjustments or repairs
as needed and escalate major issues to the maintenance team.
Perform basic maintenance checks and preventative tasks to avoid unplanned
downtime.
Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure equipment functionality
Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain machine
performance and workplace safety.
Complete production logs, downtime reports, and other documentation accurately
and on time.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve complex
equipment issues.
Adherent to health and safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and
company policies always.
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity, reduce waste,
and improve quality.
Participate in health and safety meetings, audits, or training as required.
Participate in daily shift handovers and team briefings to communicate issues or
updates.
Train or mentor new/existing operators or temporary staU on equipment
functionality and troubleshooting techniques.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation
when problems occur.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical/vocational training or equivalent.
1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical manuals and
troubleshoot machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work eUectively in a team.
Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and lift materials as required.
Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen processes is an asset.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
