Maintenance Technician

Job Description
Centoco Plastics is looking for an energetic, hands-on Maintenance Technician for a fast-paced plastics mold injection facility.
This role will focus on ensuring effective and efficient operations of all plant equipment by maintaining all equipment to a quality performance level through regular preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
The ideal candidate must possess a strong injection molding background, knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment, an understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing principals, be organized and a motivated self-starter.
Responsibilities
Monitor and control downtime occurrences with production and maintenance personnel. Adjust machinery and equipment processes as required Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions of plastic mold injection machines Repair or replace defective machinery parts Perform routine maintenance work on machinery Recognize safety hazards and potential safety hazards and correct them in a timely manner Some facility maintenance duties and other duties as required
Requirements:
Must be able to work a 3-Shift Rotation
2 week rotation:
> Midnights (11:00PM - 7:30AM)
>Afternoons (3:00PM - 11:30PM)
>Days (7:00AM - 3:30PM)
3-5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment-preferably in plastic injection molding Able to read and interpret drawings Experience in mold changeovers Able to multi-task Attention to detail and Standing for extended periods is required

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
