We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to handle various maintenance and repair tasks within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and operational, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities



Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and fixtures. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Fabricate and install components as needed for repairs or improvements. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers. Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations. Lead small projects or teams when necessary, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Weld metal components for repairs or fabrication projects as required. Communicate effectively in English with team members and management regarding maintenance issues.

Skills



Proficiency in English for effective communication. Strong ability to maintain facilities through routine inspections and repairs. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred. Ability to fabricate components for repairs or installations. Demonstrated leadership skills to manage small projects or guide team members. Knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting logic controllers. Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on safety and efficiency. Welding skills are a plus for metal fabrication tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
