What this job involves:
The Mall at Piccadilly, managed by JLL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Property Management team. As an experienced Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the mall is safe and operational for tenants and customers. The team works 7 days/week and you must be available to work various shifts including weekends and on-call.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Respond to tenant and employee service calls and complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible. Change lights, tubes, and lenses as well as clean light fixtures. Provide handyman services in the areas of general repairs such as flooring, touch-up painting, locks and hardware, ceiling tiles, etc. Provide maintenance and repairs to building equipment and assist with landscaping and other outdoors duties Provide assistance as directed to other building trade person in the areas of preventative maintenance, electrical maintenance, etc. Complete custodial housekeeping tasks in the mechanical/electrical areas. Maintain work areas clean, efficient, and organized at all times. Perform other related duties as required and assigned from time-to-time
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in building maintenance or general handyman repair Available work various shifts including weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2 years of technical or trade school training
