Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within our client facilities. This role requires mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Systems training will be provided. Travel to site 30 minutes from Regina is provided and paid.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot mechanical systems. Daily checks of buildings and systems Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and timelines. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities with daily logs Snow clearing, salting of paths and steps Ensuring emergency exits are free of snow and debris Light grounds keeping Workorder maintenance and repair of damaged items Repair and maintenance of toilet, urinal and sinks as necessary Daily fleet vehicle inspections Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and efficiencies.

Requirements

Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills. Strong mechanical knowledge Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to support operational demands. Valid class 5 drivers license Able to pass criminal record check Transportation to crew meeting place
