Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets.


We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Moncton. This is an exciting and challenging position in a growth-oriented organization. If you are a team player with proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment this may be the opportunity for you.

What you will do:

Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware; Maintain, repair and renovate residences; General maintenance and/or painting; Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.; On call rotation required - weekends and after hours during the week; All other duties as required.

Who you are:

1-3 years' experience in a similar role; Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision; Effective, proven skills and experience; Renovations experience an asset; Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience an asset; Must have a valid New Brunswick driver's license and a reliable vehicle for day-to-day operation.
